College sweethearts Prince William and Kate Middleton have come a long way since their days as two students in love. On Sunday, April 29, the royal duo celebrated seven years of marriage — and Kensington Palace marked the romantic milestone by sharing a cute photo of the two on Twitter.

“Seven years ago today — thank you for all the lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!” the Palace wrote next to a photo of the two driving away in a car with the license plate “Just Wed” as well as a bunch of balloons from their nuptials in 2011. How cute?!

How did Kate Middleton and Prince William meet?

Before Kate and William were the most perfect royal couple, the adorable duo lived in separate quarters of St. Salvador’s Hall, a co-ed residence hall, at their college St. Andrew’s University in Scotland. During a 2010 interview with The Telegraph, Kate said that she “went bright red and scuttled off, feeling very shy” after their first encounter.

For his part, William told the outlet that he was infatuated with Kate from the moment he met her. “We just spent more time together, we had a good giggle and realized we shared some interests,” the now-dad-of-two once said of their first few years of dating. “She has a normal sense of humor which is really good for me because I’ve got a dead sense of humor, and things happened.”

And now, things couldn’t be better for the couple! The loving couple is parents to three kids, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, and Prince Louis, who was born on Monday, April 23. Could their royal family get any cuter?

What did Prince William get his degree in?

It’s been more than a decade since William graduated college! While he’s served in the British military and has devoted much of his time to charity work, many are often left wondering what the 35-year-old studied while attending St. Andrew’s. Well, it turns out that in June 2005, William earned a Scottish master’s degree (the equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree) in geography after four years. Most recently, Will has put his education to use as a helicopter pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance organization. However, we guess you can say William also got a degree in love…
