Prince William Jokingly Calls Daughter Princess Charlotte ‘Little Miss Bossy Boots’ (Exclusive)

While her famous parents work hard to keep their “feisty” daughter grounded and humble, Princess Charlotte’s strong personality has captured hearts, both far and near. Even her mother, Kate Middleton once admitted, “Charlotte is cute but she’s got a feisty side!”

The adorable 3-year-old will even whip her older brother, 5-year-old Prince George, into shape when they “bicker over toys,” an insider recently revealed to Closer Weekly. “Prince William jokingly calls his daughter ‘Little Miss Bossy Boots,’ as she’ll often tell George what to do,” the source said. Ha!

But she’s not spoiled. “Kate doesn’t usually allow the kids to watch TV and puts emphasis on outdoor play,” the source shared of the Duchess of Cambridge’s parenting style. And when Charlotte gets too boisterous, Kate, 37, reportedly “hopes George will keep Charlotte in order.”

While Charlotte behaves as any toddler her age might, her life is definitely unusual. “She’s learned the royal wave and curtsy,” said the insider. And like her fashion-icon mom, Charlotte’s a trendsetter — the Little Alice London blue dress she wore to visit her newborn brother, Prince Louis, in the hospital sold out every size in just 24 hours!

Despite all this setting Charlotte apart, Will, 36, and Kate are very much hands-on parents who do their best to make sure their children have as “normal” lives as possible. “As far as we’re concerned, within our family unit we are a normal family,” William has said of his royal children.

To try to establish some sort of normalcy, Kate and William often take their kids to their London schools themselves. After the family moved to London’s Kensington Palace in mid-2017, Charlotte has been attending Willcocks Nursery School where she’s “very popular and is very passionate about art and music,” the insider told Closer.

And school is a place where little Charlotte has no trouble making friends. “She has a strong personality and is the kind of little girl who knows what she wants and doesn’t let anything get in her way,” the source said. Charlotte is like a little royal firecracker — so cute!
