Congratulations are in order for Prince Rahim Aga Khan and Kendra Spears!
The American supermodel, 26, and her husband, 43 — the eldest son of Jordanian royal His Highness Aga Khan IV — welcomed their first child, a son named Prince Irfan, on Saturday, April 11.
News of the baby‘s birth was announced yesterday by the Aga Khan, who spoke of the family’s “great happiness” in an official statement.

“Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa have announced the arrival of their first child, a son named Prince Irfan, born in Geneva, Switzerland on 11 April,” the statement read, adding “both mother and child are in good health.”
The model earned her royal title, Princess Salwa, when she and her husband exchanged vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony in August 2013 at Switzerland’s Bellerive Castle after a four-month engagement. Kendra and Prince Rahim previously announced they were expecting in October 2014.
The royal couple were reportedly introduced by Kendra’s close friend, model Naomi Campbell. Before giving up her modeling career to marry Prince Rahim, the Seattle-born beauty appeared in high-fashion shows for designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Prada Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy.
