Uh oh! According to a new report, Prince Philip‘s longstanding royal feud with daughter-in-law Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York might explode at Princess Eugenie‘s upcoming October wedding to Jack Brooksbank

“Prince Philip does not like being in the same building as her. He just can’t bring himself to forgive her for some of the outrageous things she has done,” a royal source told the Daily Mail, adding that there will definitely be “family friction” at Eugenie’s nuptials.

It’s been heavily reported that Philip, 97, and Fergie, 58, have been at odds for quite some time primarily due to the major royal drama Sarah caused both during her marriage to Prince Andrew and after the couple’s 1996 divorce

One such instance, for example, was the Duchess’ infamous “toegate” scandal during which photos of her having her toes sucked by another man were published while she was still hitched to Andrew. The Daily Mail has revealed that Queen Elizabeth’s husband has still not forgiven Sarah for that indiscretion.

Interestingly, Eugenie’s fall wedding won’t be the first royal family event that Philip and Sarah have had to avoid each other at in recent months. When Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle earlier this year, Philip was allegedly purposefully seated several chairs away from his son Andrew’s ex-wife.

Lucky for Philip, Fergie was just invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding ceremony — she was not extended an invite to the newlywed couple’s private luncheon nor the evening reception hosted by Prince Charles at Frogmore House later that day.
