Prince Harry Says He Thinks Young People Are on Their Phones Too Much!

Does Prince Harry not consider himself young?!

In a new interview, the red-headed royal candidly revealed that he personally thinks young people spend too much time on their phones!

“I read recently that young people check their phones at least 150 times per day. I’m sure we could all be more effective and efficient if we took a moment to process our thoughts rather than rushing from one thing to the next,” the 32-year-old said in a mental health speech on Thursday, July 6, according to People.

Harry has opened up about his mental health battle following his late mother Princess Diana’s death. “I didn’t know what was wrong with me,” he revealed. “[I was] very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions.”

“Then I started to have a few conversations and then, all of a sudden, all of this grief that I’d never processed came to the forefront. I was like, ‘there’s actually a lot of stuff here I need to deal with,'” Prince William’s brother continued.

Harry ultimately learned to cope with her passing after serving in Afghanistan following years of panic attacks. “If you lose your mom at the age of 12, you have got to deal with it,” Harry previously confessed. “The idea that 20 years later I still hadn’t really… that 15, 17 years later I still hadn’t dealt with it. Afghan was the moment where I was like, ‘Right, deal with it.'”

He further opened up about mental health during his speech on Thursday. “I cannot tell you how pleased William, Catherine, and I are that the dial seems to have shifted and that there is now greater understanding, compassion, and kindness for anyone who opens up about their struggles,” Harry said. “But let’s not kid ourselves that the job is done — there is much, much more that we can do at every level to make conversations about mental health as commonplace as those about physical health.”
