Prince Harry Reveals His Adorable Nickname For The Royal Baby During Tour Speech

We seriously cannot wait for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal baby to arrive and, it seems, neither can the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! On Monday, Oct. 29, Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, arrived in New Zealand on their first joint royal tour and, during a special speech to New Zealanders, the Prince revealed his adorable nickname for the couple’s unborn baby.

“From myself, my wife, and our little bump, we are so grateful to be here. We bring blessings from my grandmother the Queen and our family. We are so grateful for your hospitality and the work to look after this beautiful place,” Harry said in his speech, according to People.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Harry has mentioned his and Meghan’s upcoming bundle of joy during their 16-day royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand. During an official outing in Fiji on Oct. 25, Harry told a royal fan that everyone is predicting the couple’s baby will be a girl. And, a few days before that, Harry additionally confessed that he hopes his first baby will be female! 

Earlier in the trip, the Duke also let it slip that he might name the royal baby after himself. While visiting Melbourne, Australia, Harry met a new mom who introduced her five-month-old baby girl, Harriet, to the royal. And, according to Cosmopolitan, Harry cheekily replied, “That’s a great name.” Meghan similarly told a royal fan that and she Harry have a “long list of baby names” to go through before she gives birth next spring.

Harry and Meghan recently announced their pregnancy through an official Kensington Palace statement earlier this month. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the Instagram message read.
