How adorable! Prince Harry proved how much of a gentleman he is when he protected his pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, during their royal tour visit to Sydney, Australia on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Harry, 34, received a bear hug from an American sailor on a boat while watching a sailing event on Sydney Harbor over the weekend. Meghan, 37, laughed during the entire encounter, however, the red-headed royal didn’t want her to get the same type of greeting considering his hug was so hard his feet were lifted from the ground! In a video shared by Kensington Palace on Twitter, Harry kindly asked the sailor not to do the same for Meg. “No, I know,” the sailor replied before giving her a gentle hug. Chivalry is not dead!

However, Harry and Meghan seemingly broke royal protocol during the visit since they both hugged him! Royal protocol states that members of the public are supposed to shake hands with royal family members — not hug them. Awkward!

Harry and Meghan previously announced they were expecting on Monday, Oct. 15 with a statement via Kensington Palace, just one day before they touched down in Sydney for day one of their 16-day tour. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” the announcement read. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

After the big announcement, Harry proved he’s a little nervous for baby No. 1 during a speech in Sydney. “But genuinely, thank you for the incredibly warm welcome, and the chance to meet so many Aussies from all walks of life, and we also genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, be it a boy or a girl. So thank you very, very much,” he said at the time. We can’t wait for their bundle of joy to arrive!
