Prince Harry has been named the UK’s favorite royal!

In a YouGov poll commissioned by Newsweek, respondents voted for their favorite royal among other items. The results turned out to be quite a surprise.

The second favorite royal in the UK is the Queen followed by the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, who took third place. His wife, Kate Middleton, took fourth place and Prince Charles and the Duke of Edinburgh tied in fifth place.

The results of the poll are staggering since most would think the Duchess of Cambridge, now pregnant with her second child, would be the nation’s favorite.

However, the UK may not be as fond of her as the U.S. Only one percent of respondents said they wanted to be like her while 89 percent said they had no interest in being her—even just for a day.

Meanwhile, reports believe Harry’s success at this month’s Invictus Games earned him the top spot. Words most often used to describe him, according to the poll, include ‘likeable’, ‘fun-loving’, ‘in touch with ordinary people’, ‘genuine’ and ‘humorous’.
