Royal Neighbors! Prince Harry And Meghan Markle May Be Moving Next Door To Prince William And Kate Middleton, Sources Say

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, may soon be ditching their two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage and moving into a much larger, 21-bedroom home, according to an Us Weekly source. The best part? They would be neighbors with Prince William and Kate Middleton! In fact, the flats of each apartment have adjoining doors, which means both couples could enjoy date night without ever having to go outside — if that isn’t royalty, we don’t know what is!

Since tying the knot on May 19, the royal couple has been living in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace. William and Kate, who currently live in Apartment 1A, may soon be welcomed by Harry and Meghan, who may apparently be moving into Apartment 1. Supposedly, this was always a plan, but it had to be pushed aside for the time being due to the $1.8 million renovation, which included repairing the roof and replacing windows.

Moving into a much larger home at this point in their marriage is huge for Meghan and Harry. Meghan, who is 12-weeks-pregnant with their first child, is very excited to begin a family with her hunky husband, and a 21-bedroom home would pose no problem when it comes to the space needed in order to raise a family.

Perhaps moving out of Harry’s bachelor pad that Meghan moved into after the couple wed in May would be good for Meg. “She’s starting to feel more settled,” the source said referring to the whirlwind of changes for the actress-turned-Duchess. “She’s going to get bolder about going out and doing things — and not being trapped behind those palace walls.”

There’s been much speculation about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moving into the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester’s home, Apartment 1 at Kensington Palace, but aides insist Harry and Meghan plan to stay in Nottingham Cottage “for the foreseeable future”.

Though many are speculating that Harry and Meghan are saying goodbye to their Nottingham Cottage, the Daily Express’ royal correspondent, Richard Palmer, says otherwise. Per Harper’s Bazaar, Palmer claims that anonymous palace aides have hinted that Harry and Meghan aren’t leaving their two-bedroom pad anytime soon — per the Queen.

This isn’t the first time rumors have swirled around regarding royal living arrangments and it definitely won’t be the last. For now, we’ll all just have to patiently await an announcement from Harry and Meghan themselves.
