We all know reality TV isn’t always quality television. And we’ve all tried to resist the overly dramatic shows and unscripted storylines, but it can be so hard to turn off the TV! But, now that we’ve heard that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reality show fans too, we feel a little better about spending hours watching mindless TV.

According to Hello!, Meghan, 36, and Harry, 33, are the huge fans of The Voice Kids and love watching the competition show at home together. In fact, the newlyweds enjoy the series so much that Meghan couldn’t contain herself when she recently got the chance to meet former contestant Donel Mangena.

While recently appearing on the UK morning show Lorraine, 16-year-old Mangena recalled the exciting time he got to meet the royals at Queen Elizabeth‘s 92nd birthday party earlier this year. “Harry and Meghan walked in, and I expected a handshake, but Meghan screamed my name and ran over to give me a hug,” he shared. Mangena also revealed that Harry told him, “our money’s on you,” to which he jokingly replied, “Thanks Harry, no pressure.”

Unfortunately, Mangena did not win the show — he was the runner-up! — which is the German and kid-friendly counterpart of NBC’s hit singing competition The Voice. It was actually Ruti Olajugbagbe who took home the $30,000 grand prize and won a trip to Disneyland Paris. At least Mangena got to meet Harry and Meghan — we’re totally jealous!
