Prince Harry Jokes About Not Knowing Meghan Markle Is Pregnant During Royal Tour

You know what’s the sign of a good and strong relationship? Being able to drop jokes left and right at your partner’s expense and not have them get upset. Well, at least we’re pretty sure that Meghan Markle didn’t get angry when Prince Harry said quite the pregnant quip.

While visiting the “Education For All” secondary school in Morocco, the royal pair found themselves sitting around a table with some teachers, and one staff-member decided to send a message of kindness the couple’s way. “I wish to say congratulations for your pregnancy,” they said. And in footage captured by the BBC, that’s right about the time that the duke, 34, said this: “Wait, you’re pregnant?”

“Surprise!” the duchess, 37, replied. Prince William‘s brother wasn’t done there as he decided to add this doozy: “Is it mine?” Luckily for Harry, the former actress was all laughs, which proves that she’s a good sport about things — that is unless she gave her husband quite the scolding back at the hotel.

The duo spent three days in Morocco visiting various places, one of them being the school. They also attended a dinner, visited Andalusian Gardens and learned about equine therapy. While on their tour, the Suits alum even found time to get herself a henna tattoo in celebration of her pregnancy — a design which means “good luck.”

As for the royal baby, Meghan is expected to give birth in April, although the gender isn’t quite known yet. She caused quite the ruckus last week when her pals through her quite the baby shower, one that apparently cost close to $200,000 for two days. And tennis legend Serena Williams foot the bill in the greatest proof of good friendship ever. Although not everyone may have been happy about this baby bash. “I think Prince William will be angered by all of Meghan’s lavish extravagance this week and the fact her baby shower looked so ‘celebrity’ rather than ‘royal,'” Paul Burrell, Princess Diana‘s former butler wrote on The Sun recently.

“He has spent years working with the press to give them what they want but also gets what he wants in return — privacy. Meghan is doing exactly what he doesn’t — courting attention all for her and her baby,” he added. Well, regardless of public opinion, the royal baby will be here sooner than later!
