As royal fans and admirers continue to count down the days until Meghan Markle gives birth to her first baby, Prince Harry has been keeping busy with official engagements. During his most recent outing, the Duke of Sussex stepped out in Plymouth, England to visit the 42 Commando Royal Marines at their base in Bickleigh on Wednesday, February 20.
Donning his camouflage military uniform, the 34-year-old prince learned about the specialist teams who are ready at all times to deploy around the world to provide maritime security, support and training. Harry also saw a Joint Personnel Recovery demonstration where the Royal Marines dismounted from a Merlin helicopter and replicated the rescue of an F35 pilot from the new HMS Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier.
As a special gesture, Harry was gifted the honor of saluting recruits by presenting them with their Green Berets, which symbolically marked the end of their training. The ceremony followed the completion of their final Commando Test, which included a 30-mile march while carrying about 40 pounds of equipment that had to be completed in just eight hours.
Throughout his visit, the handsome prince met with Royal Marines, sported a huge smile and looked like a total hunk the entire time!
