Being waited on hand and foot may sound great to some, but it seems Prince Harry is enjoying his low-key, non-royal life in Canada. The Duke of Sussex was all smiles as he was spotted picking up some lunch from the local grocery store Deep Cove Market in Saanich, Vancouver Island.

Although Harry, 35, actually visits the food shop quite frequently with wife Meghan Markle, he stepped out for a solo outing on Sunday, February 16. In a photo shared by TMZ, the royal prince — who announced he and the former Suits actress, 38, were stepping back from their royal duties earlier this year — was all smiles as he picked up a couple of sandwiches and hit the road.

Instead of his typical black-tie ensemble, Harry opted for a more casual look as he was spotted out and about wearing a black jacket, denim jeans and a gray baseball gap. It appears Deep Cove Market may be a hot spot for the royal couple — who are the proud parents of 9-month-old son Archie — considering a Canada native told Closer Weekly about how she’s seen them visiting on a handful of occasions.

“I see Harry and Meghan here all the time. They were here a couple of weeks ago with Archie,” the onlooker exclusively shared with Closer Weekly. “They’re very friendly and normal. No one bothers them here.”

The local, who said she most recently saw the duke and duchess “about 2 weeks ago,” dished they usually buy “snacks” for their little bundle of joy. “They bought chocolate and milk last time,” the onlooker noted.

Meghan and Harry — who tied the knot in May 2019 — aren’t the only ones loving Canada, however. Archie seems to be enjoying their private life on the quaint town of Vancouver Island as well!

“Archie was playing with the dog outside. He’s such a cute baby and looks like Harry. He’s really big now,” the eyewitness continued. “They seem so happy and relaxed and are so in love. Harry and Meghan have both come into the store separately too. They’re always very polite and say hello, but we don’t ask them questions. We respect their privacy.”

Since the former Deal or No Deal model and the handsome prince announced they were officially stepping back as senior members of Queen Elizabeth‘s royal family in early January, Meg and Harry have never seemed more at peace. Following their shocking announcement, a separate source close to the pair explained why they have chosen to split their time between the U.K. and Canada.

They’re “determined to give Archie a normal life — for him to be treated like any other child,” the insider recently told Closer. “Meghan wasn’t a fan of royal protocol, so Archie won’t be taught any of that!”
