Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Set a Wedding Date Amid Rumors She’s Been Accepted By the Royal Family

It seems Prince Harry‘s royal family loves his new woman, Meghan Markle!

According to a new report, the 35-year-old actress has been totally accepted by the British monarchy. In fact, she doesn’t even need to “follow strict protocol” and go through the usual security check when she visits her famous boyfriend, 32, at his London’s Kensington Palace.

“[Meghan] is waved right through. Harry has made it clear she’s to be treated like everyone else who lives there,” a source recently told Us Weekly.

The Suits star has additionally been given a direct line to speak with Harry’s personal secretaries. “There have been many times where Meghan’s been unsure of protocol and having access to Harry’s aides has been a godsend,” the insider continued.

“She’s very much been accepted into the family. They are so happy to see Harry happy,” the source said. “This is a love he’s never felt before. He’s met someone who understands him on a deeper level and they just connect.”

Harry and Meghan first began dating in August 2016 and the royal publicly confirmed their relationship in early November 2016. They were photographed together for the first time in December 2016. And now, the two are already engaged!

A source told In Touch Weekly that they have privately set a wedding date without Queen Elizabeth knowing. “They want to get married in London in the spring of 2018,” the insider revealed. Harry proposed to his lady after they attended his friend Tom Inskip’s recent wedding in Jamaica.

Royal journalist Phil Dampier also told the publication that the nuptials will be quite the event! “I expect them to marry in Westminister Abbey or St. Paul’s Cathedral. The only alternative is if Harry wants a smaller event and decides to get married in St. George’s chapel in Windsor Castle,” Dampier said. “The wedding will probably be watched by two billion people [on TV]. Afterward, there will be a reception, probably in Buckingam Palce.” We can hardly wait!
