They’re the cutest! Prince George and his little sister, Princess Charlotte, are making headlines today for stealing the show at a royal family friend’s wedding over the weekend. In the new pics obtained by People, five-year-old George and three-year-old Charlotte looked beyond adorable serving as a page boy and bridesmaid, respectively, in Kate Middleton‘s close pal Sophie Carter’s nuptials.
The candid snapshots also showed George marching around the wedding party sporting a funny face while Charlotte looked on. Both Cambridge tots were dressed in matching white and blue outfits for the special event, which took place on Saturday, Sept. 22 in Norfolk, England.
“George is a real star, quite the little chap. He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack,” a source told People over the weekend. Sophie’s wedding to Robert Snuggs was, of course, also attended by Kate, 36, and her husband, Prince William, also 36, who reportedly arrived with friends.
On her friend’s big day, Kate chose to wear a recycled outfit to, we can assume, make sure all attention stayed on the bride. For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant in a cornflower blue Catherine Walker & Co. coat accessorized with a matching floral headpiece by milliner Juliette Botterill. Kate previously wore her chic blue coat dress when she touched down in Berlin for the royal family’s official tour of Poland and Germany in July 2017.
George and Charlotte’s Saturday outing marks the third time the beloved sibling duo has appeared in wedding party photos in the last year. They first served as a page boy and bridesmaid at their aunt Pippa Middleton‘s May 2017 nuptials to James Matthews. Then, in May 2018, George and Charlotte were part of uncle Prince Harry’s royal wedding to Meghan Markle. And, next month, the pair will be in William’s cousin Princess Eugenie’s Windsor Castle nuptials to Jack Brooksbank!
