He may be a royal, but behind closed doors, Prince George is just like every other little kid! During a recent outing, the four-year-old tot’s proud dad, Prince William, revealed George’s favorite toy — and it’s something basically every family household has in their toy chest.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, William paid a visit to McLaren Automotive’s headquarters in Surrey, England. While touring the facility, the 35-year-old royal gushed about his two adorable children, George and Princess Charlotte, 2, and that’s when he candidly revealed the plaything the little prince loves the most. Though George didn’t accompany his dad during his McLaren Automotive tour, Kate Middleton‘s son stepped out with William just a few days prior for his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea. On Thursday, Sept. 7, George — clad in his cute school uniform! — was photographed walking hand-in-hand with William before meeting the head of the lower school, Helen Haslem, and then proceeding inside the building.

Later that day, William revealed George’s first day “went well.” He continued, “[It was a] good day… There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children so I was quite pleased I wasn’t the one. It was really nice actually. It’s a nice school.” So cute!
