Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles Host Masquerade Ball at Clarence House — See the Pics!

Why didn’t we get an invite?! Prince Charles and wife Camilla Duchess of Cornwall seemed to have the time of their lives as they hosted a reception for the Elephant Family Animal Ball at Clarence House on Thursday, June 13.

The pair had fun holding black masquerade masks reminiscent of a fierce black panther up to their faces. Their guests also honored the party’s theme and showed up in different masquerade masks resembling various animals. Some wore headpieces that were shaped like crabs, while others wore masks that looked like elephants or birds.

Prince Charles, 70, and Camilla, 71, threw the ball to raise money for the Elephant Family charity, an institution dedicated to protecting the Asian elephants from extinction. Together, they act as co-presidents for the organization which was co-founded by Camilla’s brother, Mark Shand. The couple also look after the charity with the mother-daughter duo of Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie.
