Pretty Woman is coming to Broadway! The classic 1990 romantic comedy that cemented the superstar status of Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is being turned into a stage musical, according to director Garry Marshall.

Though it’s hard for us to visualize the love story between a wealthy businessman and a prostitute being acted out in song and dance numbers, we trust it will be just as sweet as the original!

The hit movie is hardly the first feature film to be adapted for the Great White Way. Scroll down to see which other films have received the Broadway treatment!
