Today marks President George H. W. Bush’s 90th birthday, and how does the former leader of the United States plan to celebrate? By going skydiving, of course!

The New England-native, who jumped out of planes for both his 80th and 85th birthdays, revealed: “I’ve got one more left in me.”

Gathering at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, ME, the entire clan will watch the wheelchair-bound 41st president take to the skies once more, shares granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager.

President H. W. Bush’s wife Barbara is reportedly “thrilled” by the idea, especially since he will be doing it with the All Veteran Group (former members of the U.S. Army Golden Knights).

As he prepared for the event this morning, the politician tweeted:

After his last parachute jump in 2009, President H. W. Bush said he loved the “exhilarating feeling” the activity gave him. “Just because you’re an old guy, you don’t have to sit around drooling in the corner.”

And on celebrating 90 years, the World War II veteran stated life has been “not too shabby…I enjoyed it all.”

President Barack Obama offered a quick birthday wish via the Today show, saying, “From the whole Obama family, we wish him all the best.”
