Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden are making big moves ahead of Baby No. 1!
The royal parents-to-be are moving from their luxe apartment in Djurgarden to Sjöpaviljongen, where they’ll nest their newborn — who’s due any day — for at least a year while renovations are made on their dream home, Villa Solbacken, People reported.

“It’s all about security,” a royal family spokesman told the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

Carl Philip’s older sister Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel — who welcomed their son Oscar last month — previously lived in the home with their four-year-old daughter, Princess Estelle.
Sofia, 31, and Carl Philip, 36— who married in a lavish royal wedding in June 2015 — announced they are expecting their first baby last October. Sofia recently spoke out about becoming a first-time mom, sharing, “I feel very excited.”
