Expecting mom Hilaria Baldwin said she’s hoping for change amid the global Black Lives Matter movement. The yoga instructor, who is pregnant with baby No. 5, praised protestors for making the world a more safe and inclusive place for her children, Carmen, 6, Rafael, 4, Leonardo, 3, Romeo, 2, following George Floyd’s death.

“I’ve woken up a million times to check on them. I feel a mixture of deep sadness for the hate and injustices of this world, [but] extreme awe and inspiration [for] how much change can be created by this rallying together,” the 36-year-old penned alongside a photo of daughter Carmen sleeping via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 3. “And solid intention that this generation will grow up in a more peaceful and safe environment.”

“I give thanks to every person who is making this happen right now,” added the Living Clearly Method author, who shares her children with husband Alec Baldwin.

On her Instagram Stories, Hilaria also uploaded a sweet snapshot of her little man Romeo. The doting mom of four expressed her heartbreak for all the children growing up who have experienced racism and other racial injustices.

“Dear babies everywhere, so many people [are] working so hard to make this world a better place for you, regardless of race, gender, religion [and] sexual orientation,” she insisted. “[And] to be safe for all.”

Although Hilaria is gutted by the world’s current events, there’s no doubt she’s holding her babies extra close during this time. The Spanish writer — who tied the knot with Alec, 62, in 2012 — is also looking forward to expanding her brood after suffering two miscarriages since April 2019.

“Sound up … I’ll let the baby do the talking because I don’t have the words to express how this sound makes us feel,” the proud mama captioned a video of her ultrasound while announcing her pregnancy in April. “Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you. Here we go again.”

However, Hilaria revealed she has mixed feelings about learning new details about her fifth child. Because she lost two babies within less than a year, the actress dished she’s not concerned about whether she’s having a “boy or girl,” because she would rather keep updated on her baby’s growth.

This pregnancy is different for me than some of my other pregnancies … because of the trauma that I had at the loss of four months,” she told fans during an Instagram Q&A in early May. “So for some reason, I’m not ready to go there. I just want to know [if the baby is] healthy.”

Stay strong, Hilaria.
