Pippa Middleton’s Wedding: Get All the Details and See the Best Photos From Her Big Day!

Here comes the bride!

Pippa Middleton may not be a royal, but her Saturday, May 20 wedding to James Matthews was definitely fit for a queen!

Pippa, 33, and James, 41, tied the knot at St Mark’s Church at around 11:30 a.m. in Berkshire, England. For the special occasion, Kate Middleton‘s younger sister stunned in a bespoke, lace gown designed by Giles Deacon. The dress featured a high neckline, cap sleeves, a corseted bodice, and a heart-shaped detail on the back.

The bride perfectly accessorized her look with an elegant tulle veil — designed by milliner Stephen Jones — a Maidenhair Fern tiara, and the tear-drop diamond and pearl earrings she previously wore to Kate’s 2011 royal wedding to Prince William.

Though Pippa chose not to have a traditional wedding party, older sister Kate — clad in a blush Alexander McQueen dress and matching fascinator — was on hand to straighten her sister’s train and veil right before she walked down the aisle.

Perhaps the most famous — and adorable! — attendees of Pippa’s nuptials were Kate’s two children, Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 2, who served as a page boy and mini bridesmaid, respectively. William, Prince Harry, and his girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle, were also among Pippa’s 350 wedding guests.

Following the ceremony, a reception for the couple took place at Pippa’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton’s Bucklebury, England mansion.

According to People, a giant, palace-like marquee (aka an ornate, glass tent!) was set up on the sprawling, 18-acre grounds at the Middleton’s home. The expansive structure was reportedly shipped from Belgium and was installed by Peppers Marquees, a company that has worked with Prince Charles for years.

The marquee was beautifully decorated to reflect “the British countryside in early summer…. with fragranced flowers including Sweet Peas, Peonies, garden Roses, Philadelphus, Freesia, Astilbe, and Jasmine,” Sue Barnes, Founder of Lavender Green Flowers, told People.

The best part of the glass tent were the luxury toilets, which Pippa is reportedly referring to as the “throne room!” The bathrooms allegedly include individual, wooden cubicles, spot lighting, large mirrors, and vanity units — how fancy!

At the end of the night, guests were given quite the unique wedding favors. According to Hello! magazine, Pippa and James treated friends and family to personalized marshmallows adorned with the bride and groom’s initials.

Following their lavish nuptials, the couple jetted off to Pacific island Tetiaroa to spend week one of their honeymoon at luxury resort The Brando. The Polynesian villa — which was previously owned by late actor Marlon Brando — reportedly cost more than $3,000 per night!
