Pippa Middleton's Wedding Dress — Find out Who Designed Her Gorgeous Gown!

Fans could not wait to see what kind of dress Pippa Middleton would wear to walk down the aisle at her wedding — and she did not disappoint because she chose a stunner!

For her special day, Pippa wore a gorgeous white gown by British designer Giles Deacon, according to Us Weekly. The romantic lace dress featured a fitted bodice with a high neckline, a cap sleeve, and a heart-shaped keyhole in the back. Her skirt featured tulle underneath to give her the right amount of volume, with a modest train.

Style expert Hilary Alexander weighed in about what she thought the brunette beauty would wear for her nuptials to James Matthews on Saturday, May 20. “My instinct is that she will choose [a British designer],” she told People — and she was right!

After nearly a year-long engagement, Pippa had a short amount of time to perfect her bridal style and what she decided on could seriously rival the now-iconic dress her sister, Princess Kate wore on her wedding day! The sisters both chose similar dresses, but each dress also had very different details that showed off each of their own personal style.

“She won’t want her bridal gown to compete with sister [Kate Middleton’s] —
the wedding dress of the century!” Alexander added. Ironically, many think Pippa actually upstaged Kate in her bridesmaid dress at her April 2011 wedding to Prince William!

The co-designer of Kate’s late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s iconic wedding dress also spoke out about what she thinks Pippa would wear — and he hit the nail on the head when he predicted she would opt for a romantic, lace bodice.

“I personally, would put her in something very soft, perhaps chiffon, with a train of course because it’s dramatic. Possibly a little lace bodice, soft and fluid, I mean she’s got a great shape,” David Emanuel told the Daily Mail in a previous interview. “And I would say the complete opposite of Kate just so she makes her own statement really. Soft and pretty.”

Even the 33-year-old was worried about her dress not fitting for the special event, she can definitely rest assured now because she looked like a total knockout on her big day.
