Just like that, Pippa Middleton, 33, and James Matthews, 41, are on their lavish honeymoon!
Kate Middleton’s little sister and her man tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday, May 20 — and now it’s time the newlyweds enjoy their getaway as husband and wife!
According to The Sun, the two began their three-week-long trip in the Pacific island Tetiaroa. “The Polynesian villa is everything people would expect — miles of white sand, beautiful scenery, and 24-hour-a-day service from staff,” a source told the news outlet.

Daily Mail reports that the trip is costing them an eye-watering 30 times the amount spent by the average couple! Clocking in at an estimated £120,000 (so far) the newlyweds three-week tour of the Southern Hemisphere has seen them holidaying in the luxurious resort of The Brando in French Polynesia followed by city breaks in Sydney and Darwin in Australia. They are also expected to be finishing their honeymoon by visiting James’ home in the Scottish Highlands.
Presumably traveling first class and in a private seaplane, the duo has been far from scrimping on ensuring their honeymoon is one to remember, although privacy concerns will also be high on their priorities.
Their five-star accommodation at The Brando cost £5,000 per night, while in Sydney they are believed to have stayed at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s preferred hotel, The Park Hyatt, which has suites at £11,000 per night.
Add to that Pippa’s incredible designer wardrobe for the trip, which has featured countless Melissa Odabash bikinis, Kate Spade dresses, and Persol sunglasses.
And the couple couldn’t have been more ready for their getaway! “Pippa and James have loved all the excitement about getting married — but obviously it became a very intense few months and they both feel they’re ready to be totally alone together,” an insider revealed.
We hope you have the best time, Pippa and James!
