Pregnant Pippa Middleton Is Reportedly Busy Getting Her London Home Ready For Baby No. 1
She’s gearing up for her first baby’s arrival! According to a new report, Pippa Middleton is in full nesting mode and getting her London home ready for her little boy or girl.
On Thursday, Aug. 30, People reported that Pippa, 34, is renovating the house she shares with her husband, James Matthews, to include a nursery and was spotted directing a moving crew unloading new furniture outside her property earlier this week.
Apparently, Pippa was also previously seen shopping for furniture and baby items in London’s Chelsea neighborhood just before her newest nephew, Prince Louis, was born in late April of this year.
Though Pippa is pregnant with her first child, she’s already becoming a baby expert thanks to her older sister, Kate Middleton. In fact, Life & Style recently revealed that Pippa and mom-of-three Kate, 36, haved loved sharing “pregnancy stories” with each other during this special time.
“They confide in each other about everything,” the insider shared. “When they were younger they’d always share stories about boys and school life. Now they’re sharing pregnancy stories!”
“[Kate has] been giving Pippa lots of tips on what’s to come and helping her with the nursery. She’s also given Pippa some of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s hand-me-downs but is obviously keeping some for Louis and her next baby,” the source continued, adding that “Kate and Pippa have had so much fun shopping online for baby clothes and accessories!”
Pippa first publicly revealed her pregnancy in June through her weekly column in Waitrose Kitchen Magazine. Following the happy news, The Sun reported that Pippa’s family was “delighted” to learn she and James are expecting. “When Pippa found out she was pregnant, she was obviously thrilled and utterly overjoyed. Naturally, big sister Kate and [her] parents, Carole and Michael [Middleton], were the first people she told — James aside — and they could not have been more delighted.”
