So exciting! In the new issue of Us Weekly, Peta Murgatroyd revealed that she’s not done with Dancing With the Stars just yet. In fact, if the show could provide her with a less demanding schedule so she could spend more time with her one-year-old son, Shai, then she just might return for the next season.

“I wouldn’t say no to it,” the 32-year-old dancer admitted. “It just has to do with scheduling and making sure I have enough time for Shai because the show is very demanding. It just has to be the right time.”

Peta previously gave up Dancing With the Stars when Shai was born in January 2017. The moment Peta saw his tiny hands and feet, she knew that she would do anything for her son. But shortly after she settled into motherhood, Peta told Entertainment Tonight about why it would be hard for her to return to the ABC program.

“I’m a mom now and that comes first you know?” she explained. “I don’t want to spend 10 hours away a day from my child, so those things factor into it for me.” After Peta left DWTS, her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 38, shortly followed suit. Both Maksim and Peta were not a part of the current Season 27 DWTS cast because they wanted to put their careers second and their family first.

“I’m a dad, I’m a husband,” Maks said while recently appearing on The Real. “Your chemistry changes when you have a child, things look different, they seem different.” Maksim is already thinking about having another child with Peta, too. “I can’t wait for more,” he previously gushed to Us Weekly. And his wife jokingly added, “He would have a baby every year if he could! That means I would be constantly fat. I think three is a good number.” Awww!
