Let the man have his moment! Bobby Bones shocked the world when he won Season 27 of Dancing With the Stars on Monday, Nov. 19 alongside his pro partner, Sharna Burgess — and they’ve taken to Twitter to express their dismay.

“Everyone deserved it except f–king Bobby Bones… This show is a joke,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Bobby Bones might be the most hated and undeserving winner.”

And the comments didn’t stop there. “How do you go from Jordan Fisher to Bobby Bones?” one said, while another claimed it was “easily the worst season of here’s no way Bobby Bones should’ve won. You guys lost a fan for life.”

Actor Neil Patrick Harris even posted a vague (but nasty) tweet about the finale. “Dancing With the Stars just confirmed why I don’t watch Dancing With the Stars,” he wrote on the social media platform.

But while he got the diss from NPH, many celebs in the country music world praised the Bobby Bones Show star. “Massive congrats @mrBobbyBones. You’re the hardest working man in show business. No contest. Took a lot of guts sir,” Brothers Osbourne tweeted. “Yes!! Congrats! Dream big WIN big!!” Chris Janson added. “AAAHHHHH! Congratulations on winning DWTS!!!! Your Country Music family is so happy for you!” Carrie Underwood gushed. Dan + Shay and Marren Morris also congratulated the Nashville-based TV personality.

Prior to his big win, Bobby admitted to Good Housekeeping that the judges didn’t want him to take home the title. “I think they [the judges’ marks and critiques] are fair. I don’t think they want me to win, frankly,” he explained. “I think the judges want somebody who came in with more dance experience to win. But that’s why the show isn’t just about the judges — it’s also about the people.”

Perhaps that’s why Bobby was so surprised when host Tom Bergeron announced him and Sharna as the Mirror Ball Trophy winners. “We were shocked,” Bobby told ET. “You have to think about it, [when] we started the show, I had never danced before… I cannot believe we won.”
