“I created 200 amazing light recipes,” she said in a new interview. “Plus, I cut the calories from 50 of my favorite classic dishes. The best part is that the same delicious southern taste remains.”
The upcoming book will include Southern recipes such as nutty sweet potato balls, crabby shrimp dip, Savannah gumbo, southwest chicken enchiladas and flourless chocolate fudge cake, the mom-of-two confirmed.
The inspiration for Paula's new focus on low-fat dishes is likely due to her recent 40-pound weight loss following a her diagnosis with Type 2 diabetes in 2013.
