Just days after musicians Paul Simon and Edie Brickell were arrested for disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute, the pair have released a love duet on Edie's website.

Though it is unknown when the duet was recorded, the released track is a clear message from the couple of 22 years that they're doing just fine after their joint arrests this past weekend.

More details about the argument were revealed Wednesday from a police report obtained by the Stamford Advocate, including Edie's admission to slapping her husband across the face.

The 48-year-old singer-songwriter claimed the fight began when her Grammy-winning husband couldn't "handle being criticized in any manner and became confrontational."

Paul was the one to call 911 and police indicate the 72-year-old performer had a "superficial cut to his ear" while Edie was left with a "small bruise to her right wrist."

The couple, who now claim to be "fine" and pose no threat to one another, have agreed to meet with a judge-appointed psychologist and are due back in court on May 16.
