Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes Welcome Baby No. 3: See Their Daughter’s Unique Name
Brittany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes have welcomed a new addition into their family! The couple announced the birth of their third child in an Instagram post on Monday, January 13.
The WAG and her NFL star husband shared a joint Instagram post featuring a black and white photo of them holding their baby girl’s feet. They revealed her unique name — Golden Raye Mahomes — which was featured on a wooden plaque in the photo.
Their daughter was born on Sunday, January 12. The comments section of the post flooded with love for the duo, who got married in 2022.
In addition to Golden, Brittany and Patrick, both 29, are parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2.
“Welcome to the world, Golden girl!! I cant imagine how over the moon your family is that you’re here! Hope you’re recovering well, Britt!!!” one person wrote in the comments section after Golden’s arrival was announced.
“Congratulations Mahomes family, and welcome to the world Golden,” another person said.
Patrick’s father, Pat Mahomes, also left a comment on the post, writing, “Another beautiful granddaughter. Great job Britt.”
“I’ve been waiting for this announcement! So happy for you. Congratulations!” another person wrote.
“The perfect name!” someone else wrote.
Brittany previously opened up about her third pregnancy in July 2024, sharing a candid photo of her makeup-free face in her Instagram Stories along with an update.
“Good morning just me and my skin that’s losing it’s mind … This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion, and now skin! Got an amazing facial this morning in hopes of help,” she wrote alongside the photo.
Prior to welcoming his third child with his wife, Patrick joked that he had “been stressing [Brittany] out too much this season” in an interview clip shared by Netflix in December 2024. “So I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games.”
He explained that he hoped the baby would be born during a bye week for the Kansas City Chiefs. “Hopefully God works the right way and we can have that baby maybe on the bye week somewhere, and then everything will work out perfectly,” the professional athlete said.
Luckily, Patrick got his wish, as the Chiefs earned a bye week for the first round of the 2025 NFL playoffs.
Days ahead of giving birth, Brittany showed off her baby bump in glamorous photos posted on her Instagram account. She wore a white bra with white pants and a white button-down shirt in the snapshot, writing, “Hello 2025, we’re ready for you little one.”
“Pregnancy looks fantastic on you lady. You are stunning!!” one person wrote in the comments section, while another said, “Beautiful mama…you’re absolutely glowing!! God bless you and your adorable family!”
Several comments also correctly predicted that Patrick and Brittany would name their third child Golden, to keep with the theme of their kids’ unique names.
