This is it!

According to a new report, the 1980s sitcom One Day at a Time is getting a reboot on Netflix — and we couldn’t be more excited!

The news comes just days after one of the show’s stars, Pat Harrington Jr. — who portrayed cocky building superintendent Dwayne Schneider — sadly died at age 86 from Alzheimer’s on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

The highly-anticipated Netflix spinoff will focus on a Cuban-American family, Us Weekly reports. Unlike the original show — which was based around a divorced mother raising her two teenage daughters — the 13-episode modernized version will reportedly follow a newly single, ex-military mom raising an edgy teenage daughter and young son.
