Nicole Kidman may be getting awards recognition left and right, but her daughters aren’t too interested in any of that.

Nicole, 51, recently took time to answer some questions at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards at Skybar. And since the actress is mainly getting attention for her fantastic work in Destroyer, she of course was asked about it, especially if her young daughters, 10-year-old Sunday Rose and 8-year-old Faith Margaret, help her get all done up for the red carpet. “They’re sometimes interested and sometimes not, it depends on what toys they’re playing with and what play dates they have over,” Nicole revealed.

And that’s probably quite a bummer for Nicole, who revealed that getting dressed up is one of her favorite parts of awards season, as well as meeting new people. Nicole said, “I also like meeting people that I’ve never met before, because it’s actually astounding how you can meet directors and different people, and how that can actually eventuate, and sometimes you’re collaborating on something else in the future.”

The Aquaman actress has never been shy of sharing cute and funny stories about her daughters, who she shares with her husband of 12 years, Keith Urban. She once revealed she got completed rejected by Sunday and Faith when she offered to put her Emmys on their shelves. “When I won the Emmy for Big Little Lies, I was like, ‘OK, I can put one on your shelf, Sunday, and one on your shelf, Faith, and they’re yours,’” Nicole mentioned on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She continued, “Sunday didn’t want it.’ She said, ‘Oh, I want to earn my own.’ I’m like, ‘You go, girl!’”

Nicole even admitted that her daughters called her “granny” after seeing her in her Destroyer makeup. One thing is for sure, these girls are brutally honest with their mom.
