Nicole Kidman is putting her family first following the unexpected death of her father, Antony Kidman, in September.
According to a new report, the 47-year-old actress wants her widowed mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, to move from Australia to live with her and her husband of eight years, Keith Urban, in Nashville, Tenn.

"Nic really wants to be with her and take care of her. With the loss of her dad, it's really hit home to Nic that life is so fragile," a source said of the mother-of-four's wishes for her mother to relocate.
"They've got plenty of room at their house in Nashville and she would love nothing more than to have grandma close at hand," the insider continued.

But Keith, 47, allegedly has some reservations about his mother-in-law moving in with his family and is worried her presence may impede on his own time with Nicole and their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 6, and Faith, 3. (Nicole has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise.)
"That's why Keith isn't keen on Janelle moving in permanently," the insider told 'Celebrity Fix.' "When he's home, he likes to kick back and relax. He doesn't want to worry about a permanent house guest."
