Actress Nicole Kidman has revealed that her two youngest daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, are joining her on the small screen by making cameo appearances in the second season of Big Little Lies.

“They were extras in Big Little Lies, which I’ve never told anyone,” Nicole, 51, revealed of her girls, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 7, to host Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, Oct. 30. “There I am now being a big mouth.”

Not only is this so exciting for Nicole, her daughters, and fans of the award-winning HBO series, but it’s also ironic. While appearing at OMEGA’s “Her Time” exhibition in Russia last September, the actress opened up about her kids being interested in the adult show. “My daughter is always negotiating with me to see Big Little Lies and I’m like, ‘No, no, no,'” Nicole said at the time. “She sees snippets. [That said] it’s really good, I think, for your children to see your work and understand what it is. Then it’s theirs as well, so I talk about it.”

Nicole admitted that she doesn’t want her kids to see the show since the series includes some inappropriate matter including profanity and a domestic abuse storyline. Though she is hesitant about letting her young daughters watch, she knows that it’s only because they are interested in her career — which is so adorable, because obviously their admire their super-star mama!

“My kids are always like, ‘What is she doing now? Our crazy mama,'” Nicole revealed to Entertainment Tonight in September. “But it’s also interesting for them, I think, because they see me creating characters and, you know, they have vivid imaginations themselves and they construct stories, and so that’s all they know.”

This now has us wondering if the Moulin Rouge star has let her girls see any of the episodes since being added as extras in the show! Sunday and Faith aren’t the only special guests making appearances on Big Little Lies in Season 2, though. “We got lucky,” Nicole told Ellen about Oscar winner Meryl Streep joining the show earlier this year. “She signed on without having read any script. She was like, ‘I want to be in the coven.'”

We’re not going to give away any spoilers, but if you want to check out Nicole’s daughters and screen icon Meryl in Big Little Lies, Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2019!
