Neil Patrick Harris on What He Would Tell His 15-Year-Old Self!

Neil Patrick Harris has been in the business a long time, getting his big break as a pre-teen on the 1989 series, Doogie Howser, M.D.

But would the now 41-year-old impart any advice on his younger self if given the chance? Surprisingly, no!

“I’m proud of my 15-year-old self!” the dad-of-two shares with In Touch Weekly. “I’d just been cast on a TV show and was doing crazy things for someone that age.”

And Neil has continued to do impressive things in his career, dominating both television and theater with his Golden Globe-nominated role on How I Met Your Mother and Tony Award-winning performance in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”

So does the triple threat have any guilty pleasures to indulge during his limited free time? “I love So You Think You Can Dance. I think it’s some of the best hours on TV,” Neil reveals.

He also has an unconventional hobby…collecting puppets! “I have a whole puppet workshop in my garage,” Neil shares.
