NCIS’ Michael Weatherly Reveals, “I Lost 35 Pounds!”
NCIS fans will be surprised tonight to see the incredible transformation made by leading man Michael Weatherly. In the new issue of Closer, the star reveals he’s lost an impressive amount of weight.
“My friend and I have been swimming in the Pacific every weekend [since early May], and I lost 35 pounds!” the 46-year-old tells Closer.

Michael reveals that his loved ones and one of his NCIS crew member pals inspired him to drop the weight. “I learned that if you say you’re meeting someone at 8 a.m. on a Sunday, you have to show up,” he shares.
The actor swam, biked and ran a total of 22.5 miles with Teri Hatcher and 3,000 others at the Sept. 14 Nautica Malibu Triathlon and is also biking and running regularly to keep his weight in check. “Hopefully, I’ll be able to make my family proud!” he says.
