Just call Natalie Portman mom of the year! The star, 37, was spotted shopping with her 1-year-old daughter, Amalia Millepied, at a natural foods store in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 23 and looked like she had everything totally under control during the busy outing.
While carrying multiple shopping bags, Natalie carefully held her daughter up with one arm as she made her way towards her vehicle in the store’s parking lot. Little Amalia acted like a big girl and tightly held onto her mom until they reached their car and presumably headed home with their latest load of groceries.
For dinner that evening, Natalie may have cooked her daughter and her 7-year-old son, Aleph Portman-Millepied, a healthy vegan meal. The mom-of-two previously explained that she changed her own diet to vegan after reading the book Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer. “I became vegan after reading the book, and you know, [I have] been able to find over the years really great products,” she told Us Weekly. “There’s like tempeh bacon, you know, coconut milk, yogurt, cheese is made out of cashews and all sorts of delicious things that they’ve figured out that are great replacements for those things you crave.”
