Natalie Portman‘s baby daughter, Amalia Millepied, made her public debut while out and about with her famous mama in LA on Friday, June 9 — and we can’t get over how cute little Amalia looks in the new pics!

The 36-year-old actress was photographed leaving Hollywood Mediterranean restaurant Kismet with her baby girl after reportedly having a fun birthday lunch with her extended family.

Natalie and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, welcomed Amalia in February 2017. The Star Wars star and the choreographer — who tied the knot in August 2012 — are also parents to a five-year-old son, Aleph Millepied.
“When I’m not working, I’m pretty much exclusively with my family, so my rituals have to do with school, meal preparation, playdates, bedtime,” the Jackie actress wrote in a 2016 [New York Times Style Magazine](https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/14/t-magazine/natalie-portman-jonathan-safran-foer-emails.html?r=0)_ essay.
“I do the whole week’s laundry, which I love because it’s a task with a clear beginning and end. And then we spend the weekend together as a family — usually somewhere in nature, often with friends who have children. Lots of cooking,” she continued.

“Time goes exponentially fast as a parent. I hate saying it, cause ugh, we hated it so much when people said it to us,” Natalie wrote. “They always said it, and now we say it, and it’s awful, and we’re old. But it’s also true.”
