We can hardly wait for the Miss America 2017 pageant — especially because actress and model Molly Sims will be one of the judges! It was recently announced that the Las Vegas alum will join the panel, which also features country singer Thomas Rhett and American Idol alum Jordin Sparks. This year's competition — which takes place on Sept. 10 in Atlantic City, NJ — will be hosted by Bachelor Nation's Chris Harrison and ESPN star Sage Steele.

EXCLUSIVE: Molly Sims Gets Candid About Her Fertility Struggles

The mother-of-three spoke with Closer Weekly about her upcoming gig at the MitoQ Launch at Catch NYC on Wednesday. "I'm gonna pull it out! I did a few beauty pageants," Molly said. "I love Thomas Rhett, I love country [music]. I think it's great, you know as a little girl I grew up watching it. So to see these strong women who are not only beautiful but smart, educated — I think the combination is pretty killer, so I'm really honored to be a part of it. It's fun — I remember me [as a little girl] and I wanted to be them. It's fun. It takes you back."

It's definitely an honor to be part of such an event, considering all the organization does. According to the website, "Miss America contestants contribute tens of thousands of community service hours annually and have raised over $16 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Miss America scholarships since 2007. Established in 1921 by local Atlantic City businessmen as a way to extend the summer season, The Miss America Organization has since grown to become one of the most recognizable household names in America."
