Although the couple do not know their baby’s gender yet, Mike has already been preparing for his daughter or son’s arrival. “[He is] reading a bunch of parenting books, rubbing Carrie’s feet, and is making sure she is happy and comfortable at all times,” the insider added.

The happy couple previously welcomed their first child, son Isaiah Fisher, three years ago and were very excited once Carrie found out that she is pregnant again. The former American Idol singer announced the news on Instagram after Carrie confirmed that she’d be starting her Cry Pretty 360 tour in May 2019.

“Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond. This has just been a dream come true with [the] album and with baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited,” she said in the video.

In a previous interview with The Tennessean, she opened up about how much her life will change as a mom-of-two. “It’s going to be a different ball game, for sure. My brain, I’m such a planner. I want to know how it’s all going to go,” she explained. But no matter who you are, you make it happen, you make it work, you get your team behind you.”
