What a couple! Barack Obama took some time to wish the love of his life Michelle Obama a Happy Birthday with the sweetest post.

The former President, 58, took to Instagram on Friday, January 17, to share quite the lovely message to his wife, who turned 56. “In every scene, you are my star, @MichelleObama! Happy birthday, baby!” Barack wrote alongside numerous black-and-white photo booth snaps. Take a look at the pics below!

People were all about the adorable post, as they took to the comments section to respond. “True love exists forever,” one person wrote. Another added, “You two are everything!!! So many blessings to you guys!!!” The famous couple tied the knot in 1992. They share two kids — daughters Malia, 21, and Sasha, 18. This isn’t the first time that the pair have gushed about each other — back in October 2019, they both praised one another on their 27th anniversary.

“Like the Beatles said: It’s getting better all the time. Thanks, babe, for 27 amazing years!” Barack wrote via Instagram next to a photo embracing his love. The Becoming author also had some sweet words for her husband on her own social media, saying, “27 years ago, this guy promised me a life full of adventure. I’d say he’s delivered. Here’s to our next chapter of becoming empty nesters and discovering what’s next — while still feeling the magic that brought us together all those years ago. Happy anniversary, Barack,” she wrote.

While the cute duo is about each other, they are of course happy to be parents. In fact, they recently teamed up to drop their youngest off at college — even if that was a tough thing to do. “There were [tears]. We were really good about it. We didn’t want to embarrass her because she had roommates and it was at the end, after lunch, when we said that final goodbye,” Michelle recalled during an appearance on Today. “When we got into a car, Me, Barack and Malia who was there with us, and then Sasha drove off on her own and said that last goodbye, that’s when we were like [crying noises].”

“I’m excited for my girls to grow up and to become independent,” the former first lady continued. … You feel a little melancholy that they will never be the little ones that sit on your lap and listen to your every word and look at you adoringly. Those days are over.”

There is just so much love in this family!
