Meryl Streep‘s daughter Grace Gummer‘s divorce is finalized. The judge overseeing her separation to musician Tay Strathairn agreed on a settlement that would be good for both parties on August 21, according to court documents obtained by Closer Weekly.

Grace, 34, who lives in Los Angeles, will walk away from the marriage with her own various bank accounts, her trust, the keys to their NYC apartment in Brooklyn, New York, their 2001 BMW 330ci and the 1988 Mercedes SL560.

But that’s not all. The Homesman actress will also get the right, title and interest to her company Gracious Me, and also to their Wareham, Massachusetts, business, Beaver Dam Partners.

Tay, 39, got a few assets too. The judge granted him the right to keep his 1986 Toyota truck, his 2015 Jeep, various bank accounts and all the clothing, jewelry and furniture that are in his possession. Plus, he’s also getting the right, title and interest to their company, All Days Inc.

Overall, the settlement seems to be pretty fair as both parties agreed to not ask for spousal support or let the other pay their lawyer fees. However, after secretly getting married on July 10, 2019, and then separating 42 days later, the duo must be relieved that their court battle has finally come to an end. They had what most people in Hollywood like to call a whirlwind romance.

“Grace and Tay became involved in late summer of 2017,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly about the former couple who met on the set of the 1994 movie The River Wild. “They had reacquainted, and the relationship turned serious quickly.”

Even though Grace and Tay loved each other enough to tie the knot, they sadly couldn’t make it work. Breaking the news to Meryl, 71, was one of the hardest things Grace had to do. The Devil Wears Prada star “loves Tay and his parents,” the insider previously explained about Meryl’s feelings on the matter. “She’s sad about this, but she is completely, as she is with all of her kids, in Grace’s corner.”

Since Meryl’s older daughter, Mamie Gummer, divorced her first husband, Benjamin Walker, in 2013, the mom of four knows just what to do to uplift Grace’s spirits. But she probably won’t need to do a lot because the Mr. Robot star can finally celebrate being a free woman again.
