We’re officially in the midst of awards season, with this year’s Oscars right around the corner. Though most consider an Academy Award win the most prestigious honor, there’s one title that’s even tougher to achieve in Hollywood: becoming an EGOT winner!

The feat, which means an individual has won an Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and Tony award, has only been achieved by a dozen stars, including Whoopi Goldberg and Audrey Hepburn — but could beloved actress Meryl Streep be the next to earn a spot on the coveted list?

The 68-year-old star has been nominated for an Oscar 21 times — the most of any actor — and has won three of those statuettes. This year, she nabbed a Best Actress nomination for her role in The Post alongside Tom Hanks.

Her accomplishments don’t stop there. She also has 31 Golden Globe nominations — eight of them being wins — and when it comes to the Emmys, she’s nearly unstoppable, having won three of her four nominations.

While the star is best known for her acting work, she’s well-versed in the musical world as well — however, she’s yet to win a Tony or Grammy. Meryl has been in several stage productions like Henry V and The Taming of the Shrew, and in 1976, the 27 Wagons Full of Cotton star was up for Best Featured Actress in a Play but lost to Shirley Knight. When it comes to Grammys, she’s recorded songs and narrations for several nominated albums, such as Mamma Mia! and The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

Of course, the actress is sure to receive even more nominations and wins in the future, as it was recently announced that she scored a role in the second season of the Emmy-winning drama Big Little Lies, and the sequel to Mamma Mia! hits theaters this summer. We’re rooting for you, Meryl!
