Joan Rivers‘ lavish NYC apartment has gone up for sale — and the next owner of the late star’s home will have to pay a pretty penny for the new digs!

Melissa Rivers, 47, has listed the Upper East Side penthouse, which Joan purchased in 1988, for a whopping $28 million.

The 5,100-square-foot, four-bedroom home occupies three floors, has 23-foot ceilings, a private elevator, a wood-paneled library and views of both the Manhattan skyline and Central Park.

The apartment — which Joan once described as where Marie Antoinette would have lived if she had the money — was built in 1903 by millionaire John Drexel.

According to a new report, the former ‘Fashion Police’ star renovated the entire adobe after she bought it, though she preserved some of the apartment’s original period details including crystal chandeliers and antique columns.

Melissa reportedly decided to sell the home following her mother’s death at age 81 because she doesn’t want to move to NYC.

“Melissa has no interest in living in New York,” a source close to the family told the ‘Daily News.’ “She’s got a son in school in LA. She’s got ‘Fashion Police’ in LA. She’s got a life in LA.”
