Melissa Rivers on Son Cooper: “He Uses Grandma Guilt to Get What He Wants!”
Too funny!
During a candid new interview on the Steve Harvey show — airing Friday, June 17! — Melissa Rivers admitted her 15-year-old son, Cooper, sometimes uses “Grandma guilt” to get things that he wants.
“I know I have an easy [teenager]… and I am so proud of how far [Cooper] has come in a year-and-a-half because he was so close with my mother, [Joan Rivers], but that guilt of him losing my mother, with me, is wearing thin. Because now every time he wants something, it goes into, ‘Well grandma…'” Melissa, 48, joked.

“And I’m like, ‘Oh fascinating! You know what? No, Grandma would not let you have a Ferrari, I can guarantee that. Grandma would not let you go to [Mexico] unsupervised. No, I can guarantee that,” she continued.
Melissa’s late mother, Joan, sadly passed away at age 81 in September 2014. The TV star welcomed son Cooper, her only child, with ex-husband John Endicott in December 2000.
