Melanie Griffith Looks Gorgeous While Stepping Out at ‘The Last Ship’ Musical Premiere

It looks like Melanie Griffith enjoyed a fun night out as she attended the musical premiere of The Last Ship. The Working Girl star was all smiles as she hit the event’s red carpet in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 22.

Melanie, 62, was glowing as she stepped out wearing a stunning all-black ensemble. The beloved Hollywood star looked like a total fashionista as she donned a lengthy fur jacket, opaque tights and matching Louboutin heeled boots. She also accessorized her monochromatic look with a black cross-body bag and matching nails.

Considering it’s been a few years since Melanie — who is the proud mom of kids Alexander Bauer, 34, Dakota Johnson, 30, and Stella Banderas, 23 — appeared in her latest movie, The Pirates of Somalia in 2017, fans have been dying to know what she’s been up to.

“She does yoga — [Melanie] is good friends with Kris Jenner and they do yoga together,” a source exclusively shared with Closer Weekly in December 2019, noting Melanie’s life is more “peaceful” than ever before. “She acts, loves to work, goes to her 12-step meetings. She has a full life.” On top of yoga, the blonde beauty also loves “eating well and exercising with weights with her trainer, Gunnar Peterson” as well as “staying in a positive state of mind.”

When she isn’t taking strolls around town or walking red carpet premieres, you can typically find Melanie spending time with her brood of children and mama Tippi Hedren. “She hangs with her mom and her kids,” the insider explained.

While many fans wonder if a fifth marriage is in her future, the source dished that the Golden Globe winner — who was previously married to — Antonio Banderas from 1996 to 2015, Steven Bauer from 1981 to 1989, as well as Don Johnson for one year in 1976 until they remarried from 1989 to 1996, will most likely never walk down the aisle.

“She’s been dating occasionally, and she’s open,” the source reasoned, adding Melanie will “definitely not get married” again. “That’s what she says now, but I think if she met the right guy, she would,” the insider countered.

Melanie echoed that sentiment in a previous interview with Closer in September 2019. “I’m not looking,” the Milk Money actress exclusively revealed. “I think if one comes along, it’ll just be magic. But what am I going to do, go on Tinder?”
