During the Today show's early broadcast, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Hoda each greeted Megyn, 46, who was appearing on the program via satellite from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin making headlines this morning insisting during a meeting with journalists that the Russian state has never been involved in hacking," Savannah, 45, began. "He added, that no hackers could influence an election in any country."
"We are going to be hearing a lot from Putin in the coming days as he hosts an international economic forum. NBC's Megyn Kelly is in Saint Petersburg where she will speak with Mr. Putin — and we should note this is her first appearance as an NBC News anchor," Matt, 59, chimed in.
The screen then split to show Megyn as her new co-hosts Savannah, Matt, and Hoda, 52, all wished the journalist good morning and welcomed her to Today.
"Hey guys, it's great to be with you, Matt and Savannah," Megyn began. Hoda — realizing she'd been forgotten — then candidly threw up her arms and expressed a confused look on-screen. How awkward!
Megyn's uncomfortable snub comes just days after Hoda took to Instagram to post a cute selfie of herself with the former Fox News star. "Lookie who I ran into at @RockefellerFdn — our girl @MegynKelly! So happy to have you with us at NBC! Let's have some fun XO," Hoda captioned the snapshot.
Megyn is expected to join the Today show full-time starting this fall.
