Meghan Markle Reportedly ‘Goes Incognito’ When She Shops At Whole Foods

As one of the most talked about women in the world, it’s hard for Meghan Markle to even step foot outside of Kensington Palace without everyone knowing it. But that doesn’t mean that she just stays inside the palace all day! In fact, People recently reported that the Duchess of Sussex still makes time to do the activites that she loves but now just has to go undercover to do them. 

“When she does venture out to Pilates or to get her hair done, she normally goes incognito under a baseball cap,” a source told the magazine, adding that Meghan also still likes to do her own grocery shopping.

“The only other place she has visited regularly is Whole Foods, which is little more than five minutes away from Kensington Palace,” the source continued. “That way she can quickly sneak in and out without anyone noticing it’s her.”

Meghan isn’t the only royal that likes to do her own grocery shopping either. Last May, a royal onlooker allegedly spotted Kate Middleton doing her own food shopping at the supermarket chain Waitrose in Norfolk, England. Fans were shocked and even more intrigued to learn that the royal family has sneaky ways of getting in and out of Kensington Palace. 

According to the UK’s Hello! magazine, the royals often avoid the media by getting in and out of the palace in a helicopter. The helicopter allegedly only takes off and lands in nearby Hyde Park, so no one really notices the family leaving Kensington Palace. To get to and from the park, Queen Elizabeth and her brood reportedly ride in a chauffeured car to the front gates so they can travel as stress-free as possible.

Meghan’s life has definitely changed now that she’s married to Prince Harry. Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard previously told People that Meghan will have to begin to embrace her new life as a Duchess. 

“To do the things that she used to do in America, those days are long gone. You can argue she has the biggest acting role ahead of her that she ever had in her life,” he said.
