Of course Meghan Markle had to arrive in style when she visited her royal namesake, Sussex, England, for the first time on Wednesday, Oct. 3! During the outing, the trendy Duchess, 37, stunned in a military green pencil skirt and matching blouse that she wore underneath a long, cream peacoat.

But it wasn’t just Meghan’s chic outfit that made headlines today. Eagle-eyed reporters over at Cosmopolitan also noticed that Meghan perfectly recreated her royal wedding day hairstyle for the special meet and greet.

For the fun event, Meghan styled her hair in a middle-parted low bun with curled tendrils framing her face — the same exact style that she wore with her wedding dress on May 19. Interestingly, this actually isn’t the first time that Meghan has stepped out in a recycled look from her wedding day.

When she attended Prince Harry’s cousin Celia McCorquodale’s wedding this past June, she rewore the white pumps that she previously donned at her royal wedding reception. At Celia’s nuptials, Meghan paired her recycled heels with a blue and white floral dress by Oscar de la Renta which many fans thought was reminiscent of the late Princess Diana‘s iconic royal style.

During a previous interview with Glamour magazine from May 2017, Meghan dished on her “relaxed California girl style.” She continued, “I love the opportunity to get properly dressed up. I’ve worn three Lanvin dresses and they’ve all been a dream. They’re so well made, with the most beautiful craftsmanship. I don’t tend to go with things that are ornate — just beautifully made pieces and some classic jewelry. Let the work speak for itself. I love that.”
