Meghan Markle Reportedly Wants to Take Baby Archie on a Trip to Los Angeles ‘Once She’s Comfortable’

Though he is only a few weeks old, could Baby Archie become an international world traveler already?! The chances are looking pretty good after a source recently shared some plans Meghan Markle reportedly has in mind for her and Prince Harry‘s first royal baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

“For Meghan, it’s just as important for Archie to learn about her family history as it is for him to learn about his royal ancestors,” the insider recently dished to Us Weekly. “So she plans to go on a trip to Los Angeles with him once she’s comfortable taking him on a plane.”

The royal source explained why this would be important to the 37-year-old beauty. “Meghan likes to do things her way. She’s a very strong woman who wants to use her role to modernize the monarchy, which is one of the reasons she and Harry decided to reject a title for Archie,” the insider continued. “[She and Harry] want their son to lead a normal life.”

Harry, 34, and Meghan’s lives were changed forever after the couple welcomed their first child on May 6. “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019,” they wrote on Instagram at the time of the birth. “Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.”

Not too long following Archie’s arrival, proud dad Harry stepped out for a public engagement with the press to share their excitement during the special time. “Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning, a very healthy boy,” he gushed shortly after meeting his son.

“Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could possibly imagine,” he added. “How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everyone out there.”
